PE and Sport Premium
This year we have received additional funding for PE from the government. We are using this money in different ways to enhance Physical Education curriculum, promote an active and healthy lifestyle and strengthen community links.
We have allocated some of the money to pay for a sports package arranged by the Stockport Schools Partnership. This allows the school to access a specialist PE teacher to support the staff in their continual professional development in PE and the children to participate in a wide range of sports activities and competition’s. The rest of the money is used to transport children to and from events, purchase kits and resources and pay for specific coaches in activities the children have expressed a preference for.
We have also looked at how to get more children in the outdoors through using some of the funding to develop our forest school area and facilities.
