At Bridge Hall Primary School, we are proud of our school uniform. 🏫
Wearing a uniform encourages a sense of belonging, sets a positive tone for learning, and helps children feel part of our school community. The Governing Board supports the Department for Education’s guidance that school uniforms can positively contribute to a school’s ethos and culture. 💙

We kindly ask all parents and carers to support our uniform policy.
It’s important that children come to school dressed appropriately, ready to learn, move, and thrive each day. 

🛍️ Where to get school uniform

• Uniforms with the Bridge Hall logo can be ordered via the School Money app and collected from the school office.

• Uniform items without the logo are perfectly acceptable and widely available at most major supermarkets.

♻️ Pass It On: Pre-loved Uniform Scheme

We run a ‘Pass It On’ scheme where good-quality, second-hand uniform items can be donated by parents and carers.
👖 These items are available during weekly food collections or at pick-up and drop-off, 

👚 School Uniform List

• 🧥 Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without logo)

• 👕 Blue shirt or polo shirt with a collar

• 👖 Plain dark skirt or trousers (or tailored shorts in summer)

• 👗 Plain dark pinafore dress

• 🧦 Plain blue, grey, black, or white socks or tights

• 👞 Flat black school shoes or ankle boots (no UGG-style or high boots)

• 🧥 Waterproof coat (for all weathers!)

• 👗 Summer option: blue checked dress or tailored shorts

• 👢 Wellington boots can be worn to school — but children must have school shoes to change into.

• Book Bag – £3.00 (Free book bag provided when your child joins Bridge Hall!)

🏃‍♂️ PE Kit & Footwear

• The school provides a PE kit 🏅

• Parents/carers should supply plimsolls or trainers for PE lessons.

Jewellery & Hair – Safety First

• ❌ No jewellery is allowed at school for safety reasons

• ⌚ Children may wear a watch (but we can’t take responsibility for valuables)

• ✨ If your child wears earrings, they must be studs only, and children must be able to remove them independently for PE.

• 💇‍♀️ Long hair should be tied back with a plain dark hairband. Hair clips and accessories should be simple and not distracting.
