At Bridge Hall we are a school community where everyone is treated with fairness, care and consideration; where achievement and effort are celebrated in equal measure and everyone can strive to reach their potential. We are a small friendly school, with average class sizes of 25.
We are very proud of our children. The behaviour and learning attitudes are amazing. Our school rules are very simple and all our children understand them.
“Look After Yourself, Look After Others and Look After Our School”.
Our Core Values
- emotional well-being
The emotional well-being of our children is paramount and communication is the key to ensuring we can meet their needs. It is important that we enjoy ourselves and set our aspirations high. Self-belief and resilience are needed to ensure success.
We have 8 classes, each with a teacher and a teaching assistant. Our assistants normally work with groups or individuals, to help every child achieve their potential. We also have a skilled and dedicated governing body and growing band of volunteers, giving up their own time to support the children’s learning and the development of the school.
We regularly employ specialist teachers for specific subjects (music and PE) and children with additional needs.
In 2016 we moved into our fantastic new building and we love it! The classrooms and corridors are light and airy and provide the perfect environment for the children to work hard and enjoy their lessons!
Our external facilities are superb! We have completed the development of our playgrounds, Pencil Park, Sports-Pen, Trim-Trail, Forest School Area, and our garden / wildlife area. We also have a lovely field with plenty space to run around. All these areas enhance the learning opportunities.
