Dear Parents, Staff, and Friends of Bridge Hall Primary,

As Acting Chair of Governors—having previously served as Vice Chair—I am delighted to introduce our Governing Body and share our vision for Bridge Hall Primary School.

Our governors bring a wide range of expertise from across our local Stockport community, including elected parents, school staff, Local Authority representatives, and co-opted members. Together, we work closely with school leadership to set strategic priorities, oversee school performance, and manage resources effectively.

Supporting High Standards

Our primary focus is ensuring every child receives an inspiring, high-quality education. Following our recent SATs results, we refreshed our School Improvement Plan, and we are already seeing fantastic results in the classroom.

We value open communication with our parents, staff, and local partners. Our board meets regularly through full board and committee meetings (including Finance and School Improvement), and approved minutes are available through the School Office upon request.
