School Meal Price Update – From September 2025

From September 2025, there will be a small increase in the cost of school meals due to rising supplier costs. 

👉 The new price per meal will be £2.73, which is an 8p increase (about 3.10%), keeping in line with UK inflation.

We understand that any increase can make a difference, so if you think you might be eligible for Free School Meals, support is available.

We’re proud to partner with Totally Local Company to provide our delicious school lunches! 😋

To make things super simple, we use School Grid – an easy online system where parents and carers can order and pay for school meals in just a few clicks. 💻📱

✅ Please try to book your child’s meals a week or term in advance to help us plan ahead.
✅ Meals must be ordered by 9:45am each day. If no meal is booked by that time, you’ll need to send your child in with a packed lunch 🥪.
✅ This helps our kitchen team prepare the right number of meals and avoid food waste ♻️.

💡 Important Reminders:

• All meal bookings are made by parents/carers through School Grid.

• If your child receives Free School Meals, you’ll still need to book their meals – but no payment is required.

• If you pay for your child’s lunch, payment must be made via School Grid. Please note: once your balance reaches a £10 debt, you won’t be able to book another meal until the balance is cleared. 💷
