We are delighted that you and your child have chosen to attend Bridge Hall Primary School, and we look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure a smooth start to your child's journey with us.

Prior to starting with us in September, we have a number of events planned to welcome your child and yourself into our community.

Parents and Carers are invited to join us on Monday 15th June at either 2:30pm or 4:30pm. At this meeting, we will share important information about Bridge Hall Primary School and your child's first year with us, and you will have the opportunity to meet your child's teacher and ask any questions you may have. This meeting is not appropriate for children to attend.

There will also be a stay and play session for you and your child. Please see the parent pack for the dates and times of these sessions.

School Readiness

A child starting school is an exciting time for families, but we understand that you may have questions or concerns around school readiness. We have curated a range of resources to help make this milestone as smooth as possible. 

To ensure you feel confident and prepared, we provide several ways to access information:

• Informational Posters: Downloadable below, these offer quick tips on developmental milestones and practical "starting school" skills.

• Take-Home Guidance: We have comprehensive guides available that cover everything from uniform checklists to supporting your child’s communication skills and these are included in the parent packs.

• One-on-One Support: Our Early Years Staff will be available at all upcoming transition events to answer your specific questions and discuss any individual needs your child may have.

Pro Tip: Don't worry about "perfect" readiness. Focus on independence with small tasks like putting on a coat or opening a lunchbox!
