To support your child in their learning we ask that you engage in informal conversation each day about what they have been learning at school.

By chatting about learning this values what they have done and will also help them to retain information. 

We know children often struggle with the question "what did you do at school?" so here are some other questions you could ask...

• Was the sand pit open today?
• What was the story at the end of the day? Did you enjoy it?
• Who did you play with at playtime?
• Are you going to do any drawing tomorrow?
• Would you like to show me what you did in PE today?
• What phoneme did you learn in phonics?
