Safeguarding

At Bridge Hall Primary School, the safety and well-being of our children are our top priorities. We believe it is essential that our pupils feel secure, respected, and valued within our school environment. We remain vigilant to signs of abuse and neglect and adhere to our internal procedures to safeguard and support children.

Our commitments include:

  • Establishing and maintaining a safe learning environment for all pupils.

  • Identifying child welfare concerns and taking appropriate action, including working collaboratively with other organisations when necessary.

  • Educating our pupils on how to protect themselves and stay safe.

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures apply to all staff, volunteers, governors, and any adults visiting the school. These procedures align with the guidelines set by the local children's safeguarding board. Everyone who interacts with children and families has a responsibility to ensure their safety.
