School Uniform
At Bridge Hall Primary School, it is our policy that children should wear a uniform. The Governing Board supports the Department for Education's recommendation, which highlights that school uniforms can contribute positively to the school's ethos and help to set the right tone.
We ask all parents and carers to support our school uniform policy. We believe it is the responsibility of parents to ensure their children are dressed appropriately and ready for their schoolwork each day.
Uniforms with our school logo can be purchased on the School Money app and collected at the School Office. Uniforms without our logo are also acceptable and can be purchased from most major supermarkets.
We run a 'Pass It On' scheme, where gently used uniform items can be donated to the school, and parents or carers can select items they need. All available uniform items are offered during the weekly food collections or drop-off or pick-up.

Additional Information:
The school provides a PE kit, but parents and carers should provide a pair of suitable plimsolls or trainers.
For health and safety reasons, we do not allow jewellery to be worn at school. Children may wear a watch, but the school cannot take responsibility for any valuables brought in and advises that personal items be left at home. If your child wears earrings, they must be studs only, and children must be able to remove them independently for PE lessons.
To ensure safety and minimise distractions, we recommend that long hair be tied back with a plain dark hairband. Any clips or hairbands used should be simple and discreet.
